Sermon: “Here am I, Send me!”

Sunday, September 19, 2010
The prophet Isaiah had a rough job.  God got him all riled up with this great display of his power, asked who he should send and Isaiah said, “Here am I, send me!”  Then God told him what he was sent to do.  Not the most attractive job description!  But God worked amazing things through Isaiah just as he does with us as he sends us, his disciples, into the world.  Listen to Pastor Seabaugh and Bethel member Luke Rustad talk about the blessings of being sent… even after a little resistance!
Readings: Isaiah 6:1-13, Philippians 3:4-14, Matthew 10:1-22
