Bethel is constructing a community garden, and you can be a part of it!

*Safety Precautions
We take safety very seriously and want you safe during your time on our project. Before signing in please review the following in regards to your safety:
Operation of machinery will be done by the adult volunteers.
We will follow the guidelines of tool safety.
Gloves will be required.
Closed toe shoes will be required.
Weather concerns and proper dress for the season is warranted.
Sunscreen as we will be outside for 2 hours.
First aid kits, restrooms, water, etc. are available at the church right next door.
Insects – Encourage volunteers to wear long sleeved clothing to minimize exposure and have bug spray available on site.
Bee stings – Avoid bee hives and have bee spray on hand, and remind volunteers with known bee allergies to bring their Epi-pen.
Allergies – Volunteers with known allergies are to take necessary precautions and bring any needed medicine with them.
Please let us know if you have any know allergies we should be aware of.
Emergency or Urgency plan of action will be on site, both cell phones and land lines are available. A map to the nearest ER is available.
