It’s easy to get your head in the clouds.  We become consumed by so many big and lofty things and often we lose touch with how those big and lofty things effect real people.  Perhaps that is what was going on with Jesus’ disciples before he ascended into heaven!  With their heads in the clouds, they were visited by angels who gave them a wake-up call.  Get to work!

They were troubled.  Jesus was talking as if he was going to be killed, and soon.  They were confused, angry and disappointed.  Jesus knew these things, and told his disciples that he would send the Spirit of Truth to them.  He would echo in their minds and hearts the things Jesus had told them.  He’s still echoing today.
